Currently, the software works with many 3rd party integrations for appointment confirmation. Those confirmations are bi-directional (pull from the software and update the software).
This includes 3rd party integrations that are part of the HS One family (Sesame).
When appointments are confirmed, a message left, etc....the appointment book is updated.
When patients replay to the text to cancel, it does not notify the system at all and unless the portal is checked, an appointment cancellation could be missed.
Ideally - An alert would pop up to indicate a patient wants to cancel and take you to their appointment.
Alternatively - A new status type for a patient wanting to cancel
