Once a case is started, every time another user or computer for the EHR record, the Case type selection box opens up. It becomes confusing and multiple cases can end up being added. The treatment phase with VS integration is attached to one case … then the EHR narrative would be attached to the second case. If a case has been established on the "same day" … the case selection box should not show up every time you open a patient …. or there should be an option with a notice "This patient has a case selection made for today : Extraction third molars. Do you want to use that case or create another case? with option buttons for use existing - or create new.
