Every year the CDT is updated, with codes added / removed.
We are able to inactivate codes in the fee schedule(s), so the code can no longer be seen, thus no longer pasted into a treatment plan or billing.
However, if a staff member knows the code, it still allows them to enter it and post it.
REQUEST - that inactive codes are not allowed to be posted (just like you cannot post to inactive providers)
