The field is mandatory currently - but it still allows them to either pull form the list OR free hand type.
We don't want them to free hand type.
We would like the appointment service made mandatory to be pulled from our master list.
Currently, the offices can free hand type in whatever they want. Which makes pulling reports and building dash boards off of this extremely chaotic.
In an ideal world, there would be two service categories - one with a mandatory pull from our master list of services and a second one that the office could type in additional details (like tooth #, BU, Fill, N2O, etc.).
We currently have the longer service line which allows for the office to type that extra detail. Great for the office, not so great from a management point of view.
