We just updated our OMS profile and every time there is an update, there are also problems; Out of the blue, in patient searches, it is all small letters. We can't see and very tough on the eyes and can be dangerous if we chose the wrong patient . Why on earth would you do this without consideration for customers that have to deal with not able to see? Why didn't you give us a choice to choose ALL CAPs in our system.
Why would you put "pronouns"? Insurance companies and other documents are basing information on the patient based on birth gender and information. Please don't make it more confusing for us as health care providers. As a pharmacist, I would dose patient based on their characteristics even if they identify with something else and it would really caused more headaches for us. Something should just be left for individual and has no place in Patient records and can cause conflict of information and cause more problems with claims too.
