First you need background and our preference set up - We are a NDSO with multiple states and databases. When we add locations and users, those users are restricted to only seeing their location patients.
Patient 1 - originally seen in office A, calls back for a second appointment in office B. The patient's registered chart location is changed to the new location and new provider. The original office can no longer see that patient in their location.
We know we can move the patient anytime we need to.
The problem is that the original office can no longer find that patient, if the patient calls them back for any reason.
I am not sure the solution on this, without changing security and that is something that we can't do.
An alert?
A security report for location changes?
A general report that can be pulled by any office?
