As a clinical pharmacist, I am very concerned about the inability for our clinicians to delete old and inactive medications from the EHR and the EHR under "Medications" doesn't have a way for us to differentiate a current active medication from medication History. Can your team create EHR Medication where we can add current medication, edit medication status and remove any medication that has been discontinued. Discontinued medications should be automatically be stored or put into inactive group. The EHR Medication portion should only show what medications patient is currently on so that it helps clinicians to provide the most accurate treatment plan. We should not have to go back to patient's application or go to "notes" to find the information. It seems like a backward method and would cause so much confusion. The EHR should reflect what is patient's current status and there should be a history part for us to go back to if needed.
